This offering continues to be a success with families who have special needs children, specifically autism.  The progam grew out of one child's desire to learn about God.  This is a bi-weekly offering.  We are looking forward to offering an inclusion Mass for our families.  You can register for classes online at which time you will be contacted by Mrs. Kim Forte who runs the program.

St. Bart's (for God's Children with Autism)
(1st - 7th)
Son Seekers
(1st - 7th)

This offering kicks off in the Summer and starts with a full week of intensive catechesis.  Starting with daily Mass, we immerse our children in all things Catholic.  The day moves quickly as they hear from clergy, guest speakers, and catechists who cover a broad range of interactive teachings on scripture, social justice, church traditions, prayer and Mass celebrations. The week ends with each class doing a presentation of a faith lesson learned during the week.  In addition to the week, our families bring their children to a variety of parish events where they learn through participation the many facets of the church and community of faith. Registration for our Summer option will be available online on our website starting May 1st.

Family Faith
  (K - 7th)

No matter how small or large your family this is a fabulous offering.  Utilizing that strong family connection, faith moves from 'theory' to an actual 'lived experience' within the family setting.  Throught their parent's lead, children learn quickly that they are part of a family faith tradition.  Once a month after Sunday Mass our families gather to learn important faith concepts and to discuss application of past concepts. You can register online for this option.  After signing up more details about the program will follow.

Faith Weekly
(K - 7th)

This is the traditional classroom model where children meet weekly with a catechist to learn their faith.  Each week's lesson utilizes scripture readings, contemporary applications, crafts and/or puzzles, as well as review questions.  Parents may at anytime go to the publisher's website and obtain free additional or seasonal materials to use at home.  You may register online for our weekly classes which are now being held at Our Lady of Hope PARISH located on Little Gloucester Road.
